More than ten minutes later, the police arrived and controlled the assailant. After the situation calmed down, I took Matthew to the hospital and happened to run into Evelyn, who was brought in by the police.
Her arm was injured, and both Edith and Daniel were surrounding her.
“Why did you leave me and run away? Why did you push me before you ran?” Evelyn screamed hysterically, “I trusted you so much. I treated you so well. Why did you do this to me?”
