“Looks like you know everyone at this hospital well, am I right? If you were to devote your attention to the patients here, you could replace the head nurse.” Julia paused before continuing. “The head nurse isn’t here, so you all just started gossiping, huh?” She had a cold expression, her tone casual yet intimidating. Her cold eyes and merciless words were like knives in their hearts. “Being too curious might cause trouble. If you want to know more, why not ask me?”
With that, Julia turned her head and walked away. “Byron, let’s go.”
Byron made a sound of agreement but didn’t move. His gaze fell on the embarrassed and angry nurses. Unlike the playful smile he usually had when facing Julia, there was not a smile to be seen on his face. He stared at them with a hint of intimidation, causing these nurses to shrink back.
Byron approached the nurse’s station, raised his arm, and lightly rested his elbow on the counter. He was expressionless as he glanced over the nurses. His face was tense, a profound look in his eyes. He said slowly, “Watch your mouths, or I’ll make sure you keep silent for the rest of your lives. And if you don’t believe me…” He paused and suddenly flashed a chilling smile. “Try
me.”
Byron looked like a wolf guarding its prey, leaving the nurses pale.
At that moment, Julia, who had walked quite a distance ahead, noticed that Byron hadn’t caught up. She stopped but didn’t turn back. “Byron.”
Upon hearing her voice, Byron immediately changed the expression on his face and quickly ran to Julia’s side. “Here I am!” The nurses were dumbfounded. Only one of them blushed.
“Hey, what’s wrong with you?” one asked.
The nurse’s face had turned ashen from fright, but she said excitedly, “He looked sexy just now! Fierce and ruthless… It was like he turned into a different person!”
Julia obtained the identification papers sometime later. In black and white, it was proved that she was the daught and Catalina Lopez.

Julia took a deep breath, holding back the sudden bitterness in her heart, and dialed Catalina’s number. After two beeps, the call was answered. Catalina asked with a hint of uncertainty, “Julia?”
Julia had been on the verge of crying, and she could hardly speak. Catalina waited quietly for Julia until Julia softly uttered a word in a trembling voice. “Mom…”
Hearing this, Catalina rushed to the hospital without a second thought and immediately took Julia home.
Even though Julia had known that the people associated with Joseph were either wealthy or powerful, Julia was still stunned by the luxurious appearance of the villa from the outside as she stood at the doorstep of the Lopez family’s residence.
Catalina was all smiles. She held Julia’s hand and showed her around the entire villa. At last, Catalina opened the door to the third floor. “Julia, this is your room. For so many years, the housekeeper has come every week to clean this room, and it has never changed.” Catalina smiled as she looked at Julia and said softly, “Julia, it’s not only your father and I, but believes you will come back.”

Julia looked at the pink room with a soft princess bed with a canopy swaying with the wind from outside, clearly a a little girl. The bitterness in her heart made her eyes turn sour. She turned around and hugged Catalina tightly.
Having found her daughter, Catalina prepared a party for Julia.
The next day, when Julia received the news of the party, an unexpected visitor arrived at her office. It was Amelie.

Julia didn’t think Amelie had come to the hospital for medical treatment. Without looking up, Julia casually flipped through the medical records in her hand and asked, “What’s the matter?”

“Julia.” Amelie sat in front of her desk, smiling. “Are you free this weekend?”
Julia’s hand paused as she flipped through the papers, and she raised her eyes. This weekend was the day the Lopez family would be hosting a party for her.
