I spoke for a long time, all of it was my inner thoughts.
At that moment, I seemed to see a fracture in the light in Niko’s eyes.
I turned around and didn’t look at him again.

Some people wanted to please me, but I didn’t accept their advances. I just focused on doing my own thing, waiting for the day when Niko would be willing to divorce.
At the end of the workday, I stretched my body lazily.
I was originally planning to invite Logan out for a meal to formally thank him, but as soon as I walked out of the company’s gate, I saw a black luxury car parked there.
The colleagues around me were whispering and giving me sly looks.
I couldn’t show my displeasure, so I just forced a smile when I saw Niko leaning against the car
door.
Tall and graceful, her face attracted attention wherever she went.
I cursed silently in my heart and walked past without looking sideways.
Niko immediately walked towards me, “Kayley.”

I frowned and had little patience with him, “Are you here to deliver the divorce agreement to me?”
The smile on his face froze for a moment, but quickly returned to normal. He deliberately avoided the topic and took out a huge bouquet of roses from somewhere.
“Kayley, did you like it?”
There was an immediate chorus of astonishment around.
Those were all my familiar colleagues, but due to amnesia, I didn’t dare to get too close to them
during this period. I never expected Niko to make such a tacky move.
I instinctively replied, “I didn’t like roses, I hated them the most.”
I said it with my mouth, but when I saw the rose, the genuine feeling of liking was not fake in my
heart.
I used to like roses.
This really surprised me because when I was eighteen, I didn’t like any flowers at all.
More and more people were gathering to watch the spectacle, and I started to feel uncomfortable. I urged Niko to leave quickly.

Niko took me in the car.
By the time I realized it, I was already seated in the restaurant.
“Have
a meal with me.” Niko looked at me, with a somewhat desolate expression.
I furrowed my brow and asked, “After we finish this meal, would you be willing to divorce me?”
Niko remained silent for a long time before finally speaking, “If you don’t have this meal with me,
wouldn’t divorce you.”
“Okay, this is what you said.”
I picked up the knife and fork directly, and he seemed to have prepared carefully. There was red wine, candles, and various flowers arranged on the plate. It was a very romantic meal.
Not very full, but very delicious.
I quickly finished eating and wiped the corners of my mouth. “I’m full, I’ll leave first.”
At the moment I got up, Niko looked at me with a hint of hurt and said, “Kayley, did you forget what day it is today?”
“What day?” I paused for a moment.
Niko immediately clenched the knife and fork in his hand, and after a while, he said somewhat desolately, “Today is our wedding anniversary.”
“Wedding anniversary, right?”

I had no memory in my mind, and after searching for a long time, I realized that I couldn’t remember at all how we used to live.
Seeing his desolate look, I restrained the urge to mock and said softly, “Well, that’s fine. Let’s consider it our last dinner together.
He never spoke, a shadow cast beneath his eyes.
From my perspective, I saw him in a way that accentuated his already profound facial features even
more.
I understood his desire to salvage our relationship, but I really didn’t feel that there was any need to salvage our marriage anymore. I said, “Sorry, I’ll go to the restroom.”
He turned around and left.
There was a large mirror in the bathroom. I turned on the faucet and the cold water stimulated my skin, calming my mood.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I told her not to go back.
I woke up with a slap on my face, and as I turned around to leave, I saw Niko walking towards me.
His eyes were so deep, carrying a thick emotion, which was a feeling I couldn’t see clearly.
“Kayley, please try to remember…”
I hadn’t realized it yet, and my back hit the wall behind me.
He kissed me and wrapped his arms around my waist, preventing me from escaping.
