Chapter 132
RAMON’S POV
I made it to the house where I asked Ivy to stay with Sonia, and shifted into my human form.
Stark naked, I walked into the house, and went straight to one of the rOONIES.
Grabbing the first piece of clothing which happened to be loose pants, 1 put it on, and walked back to the living room.
“by!” I called, but instead of Ivy, it was Sonia that came out of her room.
“Where’s Ivy?” I asked immediately.
She looked at me, and looked at the door. Confusion written all over her face.
“I said, where’s lvy!” I growled.

I turned around, and there she was. Healthy, not a scratch on her body
I was halfway towards her, ready to hug her, when I caught myself just in time.
“Do you want something, alpha?” She asked, staring at me with curious eyes.
“Later,” I mouthed. “I need you to come with me,” I said aloud.
“I have to help prepare for the full moon celebration. Is it very important, alpha?”
“Yes. It’s very important.”
I could feel Sonia’s burning stare behind me. Because I didn’t want to raise further suspicion, I turned to face her.
“I thought you were supposed to heal Ruby?” I asked.
“Yes, I was. But something came up. I had to return to the house to pick up something,”
“Good. No need to return to the pack. I’ll send someone to bring Ruby to you. Stay with her too, Ivy,”
“Alpha Ramon, you know I always help with-
“I’m not making a suggestion, Ivy. This is an order!”
She swallowed whatever words she was about to say, and nodded instead.

“What do you think you’re doing! I told you to stay out with Ivy. What is wrong with you?” I screamed at her in frustration.
“I wanted to talk to you about the cursed land. I didn’t know when I’d have your attention again.”
“Who cares about the land, right now? There are far more important things th-
“Yeah, like the safety of Ivy. I got that. I just need to tell you something about the land”

“ley? Why would I be concerned about the safety of lvy!” I asked, wondering how much she knew.
“I’m not a fool. Alpha Ramon, I see you care about Ivy, a lot. It’s a good thing, because she’s a good person.”
“Or there’s something more. You know something you’re not telling me.

She could be pretending. Acting agam. How was it possible that one of her father’s messengers could come into my pack, and not be spotted

“What have you done?” My eyes began to darken
She took a fearful step back, and began to shiver
“I didn’t do anything. I just wanted to talk about the

She was losing her breath, but I was a little too blind with anger, and the possible thought of losing my only surviving family, to give a damn about her predicament
A single tear rolled down her eyes, as it began to close
“What are you doing, Ramon!” I screamed at myself, and instantly let go.
As she fell to the ground, my hand reached underneath, and she landed on my body,
“I’m sorry.” I whispered, as I dropped to the ground, and pulled her into my body.
“Why?” she asked, followed by a series of successive coughs.

I held on tightly to her body through the cough, until she was stable again.
“Why?” She repeated
“Don’t speak. Not just yet. You’ll hurt yourself”
“You hurt me enough. Just tell me what I did this time.”
I looked down, and she had opened her eyes. She was staring right into mine.

I was rambling. I knew it. I just couldn’t help the randomness of my thoughts.
She had upended everything. Nothing was the same anymore.
It used to be so easy to hurt her, and even relish in it. Now I couldn’t stand the thought of seeing her hurt.
“Why don’t you let me gu? Or better yet, kill me?”
“And risk the cure of the moon goddess? You’re my fated mate.”

“The text time I saw your face. I was tasemated by how beautiful you were. I had never seen a man that good looking. Not even Seth, and he’s all the girls rave about back in Silverpaw”
