Through my lashes, I observed Ramon’s reaction. He didn’t look that pleased

Still holding my hands, he led me to the spot they were gathered.
“Where’s Moon?” I asked, looking around.
“He led on hearing the alpha’s voice. It’s kinda unfortunate too. He hasn’t had anything to eat yet,” Ivy said.
Alpha Liar let go of my hands, and returned beside Ivy.
I was a little startled. Not only was she seated amongst the alpha’s, she was also vocal with her thoughts.
I had an excuse, because regardless of how bad he treated me, I was Ramon’s mate.
I just wanted to know why she was always so emboldened.
“You should sit down, Sonia,” I heard Ramon say.
“I should,” I replied.
I moved around, and went to sit between Ivy and Alpha Liam.
Ramon threw me a curious gaze, but I pretended not to notice,
Try has been kind enough to invite us for breakfast,” alpha Liam said,

I expected lvy to excuse herself, or at least bow. Instead, she rose to her feet, and began to dish food onto everyone’s plate.
The aroma was distracting, but not enough to silence my curious mind.
She had to be something very important to Ramon. This had gone beyond normal.
She returned to her seat after serving, and everyour dug into their food.
One two muny times, I caught Hamon Hoking my way.
Fil pretend to eat, but go right to watching everyone when he wasn’t looking.
I thought I’d be able to eat. I just needed some inativation. But on seeing Hammon, I had lost my appetite.
It wasn’t like before where any wolf tried to rationalise his actions.

I just watched them eat, hoping soon they’d be done, and I could return to my room.

I was about to bang the door shut, when I felt a heavy hand block my actions.
He showed me aside, and slid into the room.

For the first time, I didn’t cower. I didn’t plan to either.

No, it didn’t. It made me just more furious for the fool I’ve been.
And I was so grateful my wolf wasn’t available to blue the lines.
“I just want to be alone.” I said, and sat on my bed.
If he couldn’t find the courage to even tell me what he had done, then there was no point in conversing.
“Sonia?”
“Leave, okay? If you’re not going to punish me for being unruly, then just leave me alone, alpha Ramon!” I howled.
Startled, he took a step back. I could feel his intense gaze on me.
“Sonia?” He called again in the most vulnerable of voices.
I stilled my heart against him. This was just him being manipulative. But this time around, I wasn’t having it.
Grabbing my pillow, I laid on the bed, and covered my face with it.
I didn’t sit up, until I heard the door close behind him.
