Chapter 172
SONIAN POV
I woke up to find a basket full of food, and flowers surrounding me.
Sending into a sitting position, my eyes scanned around, but didn’t find Ramon…
I stretched out my hand, to pick the note, and noticed they were clothes in the basker.
Had to go for a quick meeting. Eat, and when you’re done, there I be someone to take you back home,” the note read.
I couldn’t help the smile that consumed my lace
brought the note to my chest.
This was what some of my not so creepy dreams consisted of.
I dropped the note back in the basket I brought it out from, and decided to cat
But before I began. I thought of Ivy. She would need some food too.
I made a mental note to keep a portion for her, before opening the food basket.
There was a lot there. The aroma alone was enticing.
1 haven’t been able to eat for a while now. I guess that was about to change.
A half an hour later, 1 was full in my stomach, and fully clothed.
Just as
Ramon’s note had speculated, someone came out of the woods as soon as I was done.
1 almost jumped out of my
akin on seeing her, but it wasn’t lost on me how kind he was to send a female, instead of a male.
“Hello, I’m Shane,” she said, and bowed.
I felt weird at that gesture. The last time anyone bowed to me, I
That felt like a very long time ago.
“I’m Sonia.”
to me, I was still in my father’s pack
She smiled, and picked up everything I had gathered to take back to Ivy.
“I can help with that,” I offered.
Her smile broadened as she shook her head.
“That’s fine. I’m here to help you
“Thank you” I replied sincerely.
I ich so happy. I could melt into a puddle. The dress I was wearing even made me happier.
It was chic, and pink, and brand new too. I felt really girly, like I was back in my father’s pack.
We started our journey, and I settled into my head.
I didn’t know if she minded a conversation, and didn’t want to push any boundaries.
Regardless, I w. walking on sunshine. The day was bright, my heart was even brighter.
I didn’t know when I began to hum. I couldn’t help myself.
“You have a beautiful voice,” I suddenly heard the girl in front of me say.

“I do?” I laughed
“Yes, you do.”
“Well thank you”
We resumed our silence, and I felt too awkward to continue humming.
The air began to smell crisp, and I knew we were getting closer.
From afar, I sighted someone at the riverbanks.
There was no s
no way Ivy was still waiting for me. But I was too impatient to draw closer and find out
“Ivy!” I screamed out.
A head turned towards my direction, and it was her.
I hurried past Shane, and went to her.
“Hey!” He jumped to her feet, and hugged me.
“You look beautiful. Did you meet your fairy Godmother in the waters?” She asked, laughing as we separated.
“Even better,” I replied, grinning from ear to ear.
“Well well well, would you look at that,” she said, just as Shane arrived.
“Hi Ivy,” Shane greeted
“Hi Shane.”
“Did Alpha Ramon do this?” She asked, turning back to me,
“Yes!” I nodded excitedly.
She smiled broadly, and hugged me again.
“Good for you!” She squealed, squeezing me tightly.
When we were done expressing our joy, Shane excused herself.
Ivy picked up the basket, and we returned home together.
We knocked, and Moon opened the door
“Hey, you’re not supposed to open the door without asking who it is,” I chided him as we walked into the house.
“You do know I sensed the both of you already right?” He asked, smiling
“Good to see you smile again. You seem brighter,” Ivy said
“I had a good rest, and ate the food Ivy left for me. It was refreshing.”
“Good, Ivy replied
“Hey guys, there’s food for anyone interested. I think I’d like to sleep some more,” I said, dragging my feet towards my room.
They waved me goodbye, as I entered my room, and shut the door behind me.
I was about to take off my pretty dress, when I felt the presence of someone in my room
I tried to turn, but a hand covered my nose, and before I could scream, I was unconscious.
When I opened my eyes again. I sniffed a familiar scent.
It felt a little too much like home, I groaned, and rolled in bed.

My memories returned seconds after, and I gasped, sitting u
I remembered I was just trying to take off my clothes when an invisible hand snuffed me unconscious
However, I could shake off the feeling of familiarity.
Once my blurred vision cleared, I looked around, and gasped again.
I was right to consider it familiar. This was my room. I was back in Silverpaw.
The door suddenly opened, and heavy footsteps began to troop in…
I grabbed my chest, and moved back until I felt my back against the headboard.
“What?” The word slipped out of my tongue on seeing who the intruders were.
Cade. Caleb, Craig Castiel, Seth, Jed, and– I hadn’t seen him in a while, and almost forgot how huge he was,
“Wolf,” I muttered.
“Should I be upset you called Wolf of all people, first? I mean you didn’t even call your closest pal, Seth,” Jed said, jumping on my bed beside me.
“Don’t be weird, Jed,” Seth cautioned him.
Wolf didn’t look too happy. He was the only one I observed.
“Has she suddenly lost her tongue!” Caleb asked. “Hello, pretty girl?” He snapped his finger, trying to draw my attention.
But all I could look at was Wolf, and the man that had just appeared behind him.
“Father,” I whispered, finding my voice again.
