Chapter 180
RAMON’S POV
The bastard had set me up. He knew I would come to him immediately when I discovered Sonia was missing, and had planned for my presence.
He could attack, and even kill me right now, and he would be a laundred percent justified in his actions.
After all, I was in his turf. He had the right to do whatever he wanted to do to me.
I looked behind, and discovered that I was truly surrounded by his unruly wolves.
1 hadn’t thought this far unfortunately. The most I had thought was that I would walk into the pack, and leave with this head.
It was supposed to be a nice addition to my collection.
Besides Lewis that was with me. I was going to face the alpha that hated me as much as I hated him, alone.
“I’m warming you. Jack. Things are going to get really bloody. If you bring me Sonia. I might just consider sparing your life,” I warned in a bid to play mind game.
I was by far outnumbered. I didn’t see a way to get to him with all of these wolves surrounding me.
Even more were falling out of their hidden spaces.
But if I could get into his head. Make him feel like this was a losing battle, perhaps 1 could have the upper hand.
He burst into a fear of laughter, pulling me out of my delusion
“Look around, Ramon. You’re surrounded! No matter how strong you are, you’re not stronger than an entire pack. No one alpha is stronger than an entire pack. You’re going to die today, and all because you choose to be at the mercy of your emotions.”
He laughed again, its sound grating to my ears.
I couldn’t believe this was what it had come down to. If I had killed him like I was supposed to, I wouldn’t be in this position right now,
“Your funeral then,” I said.
“We’ll see about that,” he replied, rubbing his palm, and licking his lips.
Soon he would give the order, and they would attack.
I turned to Lewis “Are you ready?” I asked
se for you, alpha.”
“As the pledge goes, I’d die for
And I for you.” I replied.
I closed my eyes, and invoked an image of Sonia in my mind.
I still wasn’t convinced Jack didn’t have her. However, wherever she was, I was going to find her.
But for now, there was a bastard I needed to deal with.
My fingers shifted into claws, as I opened my eyes.
With one move, I growled into the sky, and tore my shirt off my body.
My canine’s began to shoot out, but I held back my alphas eyes.
f my wolf.
It wasn’t time to use up that much strength. When it got tougher, I would reach out for more of my
I could see the fear in their eyes. I didn’t give a damn. They were finally going to see a real alpha fight.
“Anack!” Jack screamed..

Chapter 180
The first wolf unfortunate enough to draw close to me, I had on the floor before he could make his move
Picking up his lifeless body I had slashed right in front of their eyes, I tossed him to
n to the incoming wolves.
The force pushed some backwards, but some managed to slither through.
I caught two by their necks with both of my hands, and thing them behind me, knocking off a third who was creeping up on me.
Beside me, Lewis was also doing one heck of a job.
I was getting into the flow of things. Besides his dumb men that had the nerve to attack me at the border we shared with Silverpaw, I had not gone to battle in a long time.
Adrenaline kicked, and blood pumped through my veins thirstily.
1 kept my eyes on Jack who was surrounded by a wall formed by his wolves, as I fought my way through.
I wanted him to
know that despite how heavily the odds were against me, I was going to get to him, and when I did, I would have his head.
Someone grazed my arm, and I turned to stare at the audacious being.
1 growled, and before I could touch them, they fell to the ground
As I returned my face forward, I felt a punch directly on my nose.
my head from side to side, as fury surged through me
I twisted my
With both hands, I grabbed the wolf’s head, and squeezed until I saw his eyeball roll to the back,
“Moon goddess!” I heard Jack gasp, as I wrangled the wolves neck like a chicken, and tossed him to the other dead bodies.
More wolves came out, and the odds grew even larger.
up the wall safeguarding him,
I had managed to take out the five wolves in front of me, and was headed towards Jack, who had foolishly opened up when I felt a claw on my back.
Pain pierced through my soul, as the claw dug deeper into my back.
Any deeper, and perhaps, they could pluck out my heart.
“Yes!” I heard Jack scream in excitement,
t, and the pain was replaced by anger
I whirled around like a rolling wind, and caught the hand of the wolf that had dug into my back.
Holding his claw, I pushed it into my mouth, and bit it out.
He bowled in
n pain, as he fell to the ground. It was one of the worst pain a wolf in battle could be inflicted with.
Three other wolves charged at me, and they were much stronger than the fools I had been dealing with.
I was going to take them out, when from the corner of my eyes, I caught Lewis struggling.
I was stuck. On one hand, I was dealing with stronger wolves that I had to keep fighting. On the other hand, I couldn’t let Lewis be killed.
My dilemma was short lived when from nowhere, I saw someone leap into the air, and grabbed the wolf that was trying to take Lewis out.
The newest arrival growled, as he tossed the wolf to the ground, and I smiled.
He raised his head, and our eyes met.
It wasn’t just Liam that had come, my wolves too had arrived.
