FIVE MONTHS LATER
SONIA’S POV
I stared at my naked body in the mirror, and couldn’t stop smiling.
My hand went to my protruding belly. My baby licked the second I touched it.
That never failed to make me giggle. It was painful, but the pain was something I could beat. It was also tickling
Judging by how heavy I was, Ivy had said it would be a very big child.
Whatever it was, I was just glad to be healthy, and happy.
1 was putting on my clothes, when a knock sounded on my door.
Frowning, I wondered who that could be.
I wasn’t expecting anyone, and the servants around were currently not present in the main building.
“It’s me. It’s Ivy!”
I smiled, and quickly threw the gown over my head.
Walking to the door, I unlocked it for her to come in.
“Are you okay? Why did you lock your door?” She asked, concern written all over her face.
“I just wanted to be alone for a while. Besides, the servants said they wouldn’t be around until evening.”
“Oh,” she smiled, and hurried to my bed. “Look what I got you.”
She took out a shawl from the bag she had brought with her, and presented it to me,
“Oh my, Ivy! It’s beautiful!”
I reached for the white shawl, with lilac and pink design.
It was truly such a soft, but wonderful creation.
“Jenner made it. Told her it was for a friend, and she couldn’t be more excited to have it done.”
“It’s beautiful.”
I kissed the shawl, and hugged it tightly.
“See that, baby. It’s for
r you. Your Aunt Ivy brought it for you.”
“And how’s my baby,” She said, rising to her feet.
She walked up to me, and bent her head low enough to kiss my tummy.
It kicked, and we burst into a giggle at the same time.
“So, what’s up with you!” She asked as we returned to the bed together, and sat down.
“I’m okay. It’s been a peacefull week. Jed was here a few days ago,” I replied as I folded the shawl back into the bag.
“Still no sign of hesitation from your father?” she asked.
“No. He’s still not hesitant to find me. I think it’s very weird. He wanted me to marry Liam Liam by all means. Then I disappear, and he’s not in hurry to look for me? It’s been five months already. Don’t you find that weird!”
I saw a look pass through Ivy’s eyes. I blinked and it was gone, but I knew what I saw.

“Ty, is there something you need to tell me?”
No. Nothing about your father at least. But, it looks like Lorena will be having an early birth.“.
I frowned, and rolled my eyes. “Good for her, I guess.”
“What’s that?” She lifted a brow,
“Nothing. I just know your brother is ecstatic”
“I thought you told me not to mention him around you?”
“Yeah I did. And I know it has killed you not to in the last five months. I’m just glad you didn’t.”
“Hat now you’re bringing him up. Why?”
“Well, he’s going to be a father soon.
“Lorna’s child is not his,” she countered.
“So you believe. He neither knows nor believes that

I was shrugging her away, when what she said registered in my head.
“Wait what? He knows!!”
“Yeah, he does. He found out five months ago. He has been silent though. Watching her fool herself thinking she’s fooling him. He says he’s going to Like her to the father of her child himself when she’s due”
“Wow! Does he know her father too?”
“Yep.”
“How did he find out! And who is the father?”
“You’re asking a lot of questions for someone who swore off bloodmoon. Are you sure you don’t want to come back now you know there’s nothing rying Ramon, and Lorena“”
I scoffed, and rose to my feet. Grabbing the bag I had folded the shawl into, I walked to my closet, and dropped the bag in it.
“Nice try, Ivy. I already told you I’m never going back to him. He was going to kill me after he had gotten his revenge on my father.”
“Wait, is that the reason for your anger towards him?” She asked
I turned to face her, disappointed by how dismissive she sounded.

I knew it wasn’t alright, but I suddenly felt too awkward to say anything else.
Turning around, I walked out of the room to catch my breath, and ponder on everything she had just said.
