Chapter 250
The afternoon sun poured through the windows of the Bloodmoon estate’s great hall, casting golden light over the worn wood and stone. The room hummed with quiet energy, as if the walls themselves were aware of the significance of the moment.
Sonia stood by the large oak table, her hand resting lightly on its surface as she stared at the map of our territories. Despite the exhaustion etched into her features, her determination radiated like a beacon.
“Cade says they’re here.” I said softly, stepping into the room.
Her head snapped up, her amber eyes wide with surprise and hope. “They’re here?” she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
I nodded, watching as her shoulders relaxed. For weeks, Sonia had carried the weight of this coming war almost singlehandedly. Reuniting with he brothers, the triplets, Castiel, Craig. Caleb, then Wolf, Jed. Seth and Cade, felt like the first sliver of relief she’d allowed herself.
The heavy doors swung open, and Cade entered first, his towering frame cutting an imposing figure. Behind him walked are seven brothers, their presence filling the room like a gust of fresh air.
“Sonia!” Seth Castiel, Craig and Caleb called out, their grin wide and mischievous as they strode forward, their arms open.
Sonia’s face lit up, her weariness momentarily forgotten as she rushed to them. She threw her arms around them in a group hug, laughing for the first time in what felt like forever.
“It’s about time you showed up,” she said, her voice muffled against his shoulder
“You know me,” Seth replied, pulling back to look at her. “Always fashionably late.”
Jed stepped forward
next, his expression softer but no less heartfelt. “It’s good to see you, sis,” he said, wrapping her in a tight hug
“It’s good to see you both.” Sonia said, her voice thick with emotion
Wolf and Cade stood nearby, their expressions a mix of relief and fondness. “Looks like the gang’s all here,” Wolf said, crossing his arms.
“All we’re missing is the old man, Seth said with a teasing grin. “But then again, you’ve got Ramon for that now, don’t you?”
Sonia rolled her eyes, laughing despite herself. “Don’t start, Seth.”
Seth tilted his head, his gaze dropping to her belly. “Still pregnant, huh? I thought for sure you’d have popped those pups out by now.”
Sonia gasped, smacking his arm playfully. “Excuse me?”
The room erupted into laughter, the tension that had weighed on all of us lifting, if only for a moment
As if on cue, the door opened again, and I stepped inside withmy beta, Blane at my side. “She’s not due yet,” I said, smirking as I walked toward the
table.
Jed and Seth turned, their gazes sizing me up in a way only older brothers could.
“Alpha Ramon,” Jed said, his tone neutral but firm. “Good to see you again.”
“And still alive,” Seth added with a grin. “Impressive
Sonia rolled her eyes, stepping between us. “Play nice, you two,” she said, though there was affection in her voice.

Seth clapped me on the shoulder, his grin widening: “So, how did you managed to keep up with our sister, huh? Gotta say, I’m impressed.”
“I try,” I said dryly, earning another round of laughter.
“Welcome brothers. Let’s get into business.”
The lightheartedness faded as we gathered around the table, the map once again the center of attention. Sonia stood beside me, her hand brushing against mine in a silent show of solidarity.
“Lorena’s forces are growing? Sonia began, her voice steady despite the gravity of her words. “She’s already attacked us once, and she won’t stop

until she’s taken everything”
We’ve dealt with rogues before.” Seth said, his brow furrowing as he studied the
map, “What
makes this different!”
“Organization,” Cade said, his tone grim. “She’s not just leading a pack of outcasts. She’s building an army. And she’s using fear and manipulation to bring them under her controlTM
Jed leaned forward, his playful demeanor replaced by a rare seriousness. “What’s

“We’ve rallied allies,” 1 said, gesturing to the map. “Silverpaw, Furclaw, Moonray, and Greystone have committed their forces. But it’s not enough. Lorena’s numbers still outmatch us.”
Jed frowned, his gaze flickering to Sonia. “And what’s your role in all of this, sis! Besides leading. I mean,”
Sonia hesitated, her hand tightening around the edge of the table. “I’m B
fighting,” she said simply.
“No, you’re not,” Seth said immediately, his voice firm.
“Don’t start.” Sonia wamed, her tone icy
“You’re pregnant, Sonia,” Jed said, his voice gentler but no less insistent. “You can’t put yourself at risk. Talk to your woman, Ramon, it’s dangerous for her and the pups,
“This isn’t up for debate,” Sonia said, her voice rising. “I’m not sitting on the sidelines while the people I love fight for their lives.”
The room fell silent, her words cutting through the tension like a blade.
“She’s right,” I said finally, my voice steady. “Sonia has a role to play, and we’ll make sure she’s protected. But she’s not going to sit this out. I’ve tried that more than how many times to talk her out of it but she won’t agree.”
Jed and Seth exchanged a look, their expressions a mix of frustration and resignation
“Fine” Seth said, leaning back in his chair. “But if anything happens to her, we’re holding you personally responsible, Alpha”
“I wouldn’t expect anything less.” I replied, meeting his gaze y
without flinching.
As the discussion shifted back to strategy, I watched Sonia out of the corner of my eye. Despite the exhaustion and the tension, she was stronger than ever. Her brothers could see it too, and though they worried. I knew they respected her resolve.
When the meeting finally ended, the room emptied s

and me.
“It’s good to have you here,” Sonia said, her voice soft as she hugged Jed and Seth again.
“We’re not going anywhere,” Jed said, his tone firm.
“You’re stuck with us Seth added, grinning.
“Good” Sonia uid, her smile genuine for the first time in days.
As I watched them, a sense of hope stirred in my chest. The battle ahead would test us in ways we couldn’t yet imagine, but for now, we had cach other. And that was enough
