Celeste‘ s POV
For the last couple of days, I couldn’t sleep easily. There was something wrong, I was sure of it. After all, Elia had been acting unusual.
‘Something’s wrong,‘ she warned me.
But before I could ask her something, she would go missing.
One day, I was taking care of the pack‘ s affairs with my parents when a warrior ran up to us. His face was pale as if he saw something so shocking. My stomach churned, which made me know that it wouldn’t be a good news.
“Alpha Theodore, Luna Giselle, Lady Celeste, we‘ ve captured a spy near the pack borders.
“A spy?” my father repeated, frowning in disbelief.

The warrior nodded as he said, “Yes, he’s from the Dark Night Pack. He claims to have been sent by Alpha Leo.”
My heart tightened when I heard it. The terrible thing that I had been feeling turned out to be this bad news. A mix of
fear and anger rose inside of me.
‘Just when I left him, he realized that I was gone. What’s the point?‘ I thought to myself.
I knew Leo wouldn’t let me go easily, but this was faster than I’d expected. In fact, I didn’t even realize it. So, the spy was definitely the Dark Night Pack‘ s top spy, which showed that my husband was
panicking.
Somehow, the realization made me slightly satisfied.
‘It was too late, Leo. I’m done with you for good,‘ I thought to myself.
“Bring him here,” my father ordered the warrior with his Alpha voice.

Moments later, a warrior was dragged before us. His face bruised and his clothing marked with the symbol of the Dark Night Pack. For a moment, the warrior met my gaze before he looked away.
“What is your name?” the Alpha asked, still with his Alpha voice.
“Damon, sir,” the spy weakly replied.
“Why did Alpha Leo send you here?” my mother, the Luna, asked.
Damon swallowed his saliva as he directed his gaze at me and answered, “Alpha Leo realized that Luna Celeste was missing. He became furious when he saw Luna‘ s golden ring and the letter Luna has left. After that, he sent me to find Luna Celeste. and report back.”
“Damon, what else do you know?” I
asked him.
For a while, the spy hesitated. But he eventually spoke as my father glared on him, “Lady Violet… lost her baby due to

the rumors about her having an affair with the Alpha. Alpha Leo is desperate for you to return to be his Luna again.
When I heard it, I just sighed. It was all of their own faults. They were the one who started the fire, so they got burnt. It was what they deserved.
Instead, I felt sad for the poor baby‘ s life. who had lost. Another emotion that came to me was disgust. Leo‘ s audacity to demand my return after everything he‘ d done was staggering.
I told the spy sternly, “Tell him this, Damon. I am severing our mating bond, no matter what. f he refuses, I will go to the other packs and tell them everything he
has done to me. I will make sure the Dark
Night Pack’s reputation is shattered. Do you understand me?”
Damon’s eyes widened, but he nodded as he answered, “I … I understand.”
“Good. Make sure Alpha Leo understands.

Damon was then led away. After that, I turned to my parents and Albert. For the first time in what seemed to feel like a
century, I felt a new sense of strength.
“I won’t be controlled by him anymore. He may have been my mate, but he’s lost all rights to me,” I told them.
My mother placed a comforting hand on my shoulder as she said, “You are strong, Celeste. We’re proud of you for standing up for yourself.”
The Alpha, my father, looked at me proudly as he said, “I’m glad that you‘ re my daughter.”
Albert nodded in agreement as he said,
“No matter what Leo does, we’ll be here for you.”
I looked at them. There was the newly found warmth that spread through me. For the first time, I truly believed that I would be okay. No matter what Leo did, I would
