“I did,” Debra replied. “My desire to save Liza is genuine. But that doesn’t mean I have to die for it.”

Marion sighed, flicking her nose. “Always scheming, aren’t you?”

But Marion didn’t even glance at her. “You better turn yourself in at the police station by tomorrow morning. Otherwise, I’ll have someone take you there.”
