Chapter 14

Tiana’s Point of View
After two days of staying away from Ashton, I decided to return to the mansion. Deep down, I already knew he wouldn’t come looking for me–it was always up to me to keep this relationship alive.
To my surprise, Ashton was home when I arrived. Without hesitation, I gently approached him, settling beside him on the couch. Then, I wrapped my arms around his waist, relieved when he returned the hug, though his attention barely shifted.
“Why didn’t you even look for me, Ash? Don’t you miss me? I was gone for two days,” I said, pouting as I leaned closer.
He glanced at me. “I thought you were busy with your pack duties. I didn’t want to bother you.”
I nodded, forcing a smile. “Fair enough”

But I don’t want to let things stay so casual.
Shifting my tone and expression, I slid my fingers over his chest, slowly unbuttoning his polo. My lips grazed his neck, leaving a trail of kisses.
“I missed you, babe,” I whispered seductively, my voice inviting.
Unexpectedly, Ashton stepped back, gently pushing me away as he stood up.
I smirked, convinced he was playing hard to get.
“Oh, so that’s how it is now?” I murmured under my breath.
Without hesitation, I let my clothes drop to the floor, standing confidently before him. After that, I ran my hands down my exposed chest, meeting his gaze with a mischievous grin. Then, I settled myself provocatively on the couch, spreading my legs open.
“Come and get me, Ash,” I teased.

Unexpectedly–again–Ashton turned his
back on me and walked straight to the kitchen. My cheeks burned with
humiliation.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” I yelled, grabbing a pillow from the couch and throwing it at him.
He caught it effortlessly, his tone calm but detached. “I’m not in the mood right now, Tiana. Sorry.”
His indifference only fueled my frustration.
“Whatever, Ashton!” I snapped, hastily putting my clothes back on before
storming out of the mansion.
This was the first time he had ever rejected me, especially when it came to sex!
The next day, before returning to the mansion, I grabbed a small knife from the headquarters. With a deep breath, I
pressed it against my arm and made a
shallow cut. The sting was sharp, but the

sight of blood trickling down my skin sent.
a satisfaction through me.
This is exactly what I needed.
“Maybe it’s time for another lie,” I muttered, clenching my teeth.
I steeled myself, preparing for the act. I needed to cry, to look terrified, to look like someone who had just escaped danger.
When I arrived at the mansion, clutching my wounded arm, I immediately searched for Ashton. I found him in the bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed.
The drama began.
“Ashton! Kathryn… She tried to kill me!” I cried, my voice trembling. “I was on my way here when she cornered me and slashed my arm with a knife! Look!” I extended my arm toward him, tears streaming down my face, my panic. palpable.
But Ashton only glanced briefly at the

wound.
“The wound doesn’t look too deep, Tiana. It’s impossible to die from that. There’s a medkit in the cabinet downstairs. Use it to clean the wound.” He said nonchalantly.
My jaw dropped in disbelief.
“But Kathryn literally tried to kill me! Are you seriously going to stand there and do nothing?” I cried, tears streaming down my face.
Ashton remained calm.
“I know you inflicted that wound on yourself, Tiana. Kathryn would never stoop to such things. And if she ever did, I’m certain you provoked her into it.” His words. were sharp as he turned on his heel and left the room without another glance.
His dismissal made me weak.
My breath hitched as I realized Ashton was slipping away from me, and if I didn’t act fast, I would lose him for good.
Chapter 14
No, I couldn’t let that happen. I wouldn’t!
“It was time for something more drastic. I need Ashton to be mine, no matter the cost!” I cursed under my breath.
Without wasting another second, I shifted into my wolf form. I then sprinted through the dense woods, my paws pounding against the ground as I made my way to Quarry Town–the farthest, grimmest, and most desolate part of the pack’s territory.
When I reached the outskirts of the forgotten town, I shifted back into my human form. Then, I made my way to the cottage at the edge of the town, its windows glowing faintly with an unnatural light.
I knocked three times, the sound echoing in the stillness. Moments later, the heavy door creaked open, and Dalia appeared in the doorway. Her sharp eyes glinted with curiosity, her lips curving into a smile.
“Tiana,” She purred, stepping aside to let me in. “It’s been a while. What brings you

to my humble abode?”
The air inside was thick with the scent of
herbs and smoke.
As I sat down, I placed money and diamonds onto her table.
Dalia’s eyes sparkled as she inspected my offers. “Generous as always. Now, tell me… what is it you desire?”
A smirk curled on my lips as I locked eyes with her dark gaze. “Do you know how to brew the potion called Yellow Daisy Ecstasy?”
Dalia chuckled darkly, her voice echoing in the dimly lit room. Without another word, she strode to her cabinet of potions. She then reached for a bottle perched at the very top and placed it on the table between
- us.
My breath hitched as my eyes fixed on the golden potion, its bright, shimmering hue reflecting the flickering light.
Chapter 14
“Is this the one?” I asked, though the answer was already clear.
Dalia gave a slow nod. “Brewing Yellow Daisy Ecstasy is never easy. It’s a delicate and time–consuming process–takes months to perfect. You’re fortunate I happen to have one left. And since you’ve been generous enough, I’ll give this to you. A single bottle is enough for two people.”
My fingers brushed the potion’s cool glass before I gently picked it up. Then, I slipped it into a bright yellow bag with care.
Perfect.
The Yellow Daisy Ecstasy was no ordinary potion. Mixed with water or liquor, it had a sinister effect. It heightened arousal to the point of desperation, driving the drinkers. to lose control, forcing themselves on anybody to have sex.
“If I may ask, what exactly do you need this potion for?” Dalia inquired, her tone
cautious but curious.
Chapter 14
A sly smile crept across my face as I met her gaze. “I plan to use it on my sister… To make her look like a cheater in her mate’s eyes.”
