Today, as usual, I went to the cake shop my sister likes.
But the next moment, I was dragged out.
I was pulled all the way to a deserted alley.
At the end of the alley, Zoe and Mia stood with their hands on their hips, looking at me.
“Fallen into my hands again, huh? I couldn’t beat you at school, but outside? You think the principal can protect you out here?”
I never thought the principal would protect me.
That was just a temporary measure my mom came up with.
“Beat her up. If she dies, it’s on me.”
Zoe pulled out a few red bills from her pocket and handed them to the three thugs.
“Extra reward if you draw blood!”
Zoe looked at me like a bloodthirsty beast, her eyes glowing green.
One of the thugs came forward first. He grabbed my hair but was kicked to the ground by
- me.
Seeing his companion hurt, another thug charged forward, cursing, “You dare hit my bro.””
His fist connected with my face. Soon, I tasted blood in my mouth.
I licked my lips. The rusty taste inexplicably excited me.
I quickly grabbed one thug’s arm, tightening my grip, and punched him hard in the face.
The thug had no chance to fight back. He covered his nose and crouched down. “Bros,
I’m done. You take over.”

The remaining two thugs approached together, trying to restrain me.
I quickly grabbed one thug’s hair, yanking it up hard and slamming his head against the wall. While the other thug was stunned, I punched him viciously in the face.
Not giving them a chance to breathe, I followed up with a flying kick.
They couldn’t withstand my reckless fighting style for long.
The thugs crouched on the ground, covering their heads. “I’m sorry, it wasn’t me. It was that girl who told us to do it. Here, take all this money!”
He offered

the money he hadn’t even had time to warm up in his pocket.
I took out the folding knife I always carry and pressed it hard against one thug’s neck.
Soon, his neck started bleeding.
His whole body began to shake, even his teeth chattering uncontrollably. “I’m sorry, I’ll
never dare do this again.”
“You two, grab those girls and bring them here.”
Zoe and Mia, who had been watching the show in a daze, were brought over like little chickens by the two thugs.
“What are you doing? You take money to do a job and can’t even do it right. Useless trash, ptui!”
The thug was already angry from being beaten by me, and now Zoe was rubbing salt in his wounds.
In a fit of rage, he slapped her.
“Who do you think you are to curse at me!”
It seemed Zoe had come prepared. She even had a r
No doubt this was meant for me.
I glanced lightly at the two thugs, and they understood, using the rope to tie up Zoe and
Mia.
. I walked forward, playing with the folding knife in my hand.
Zoe swallowed hard, her body stiff as if frozen in place. She stammered out a sentence, “You… you wouldn’t dare use that knife, would you?“.
“Want to bet if I dare or not?”
After a few cuts, her clothes were in tatters.
Like taking photos? I’ll satisfy her.
“What are you standing there for? Take out your phones and start shooting!”
The thug’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. “We get to do this too?”
“This is illegal! You’ll go to jail!”
Zoe covered her body frantically, snot and tears streaming down her face.
“Illegal?” I felt like I’d heard the biggest joke ever.
“Did you forget what you just said? You’re young, not responsible for your actions? Even the police can’t do anything to you?”
I blinked. Zoe’s body trembled, every muscle tense.
Mia raised her tear–stained face to look at me. “Lily, I was wrong. I’ll never dare do it again. Please let me go… It’s all Zoe’s fault. She led the bullying. It has nothing to do with me. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I know I was wrong!”
She didn’t hesitate to kowtow twice.
But where in the world is there a rule that you must accept an apology Just because someone apologizes?

I looked into her eyes and said word by word, “Sorry, I can’t accept it.”
Only after the three thugs had their fill did I cut the ropes binding Zoe and Mia.
At this moment, I knew that the friendship between Zoe and Mia had completely shattered.
