Felix barked at Nicholas in greeting, wagging his tall.
“You called him,” Deborah said, laughing as she stroked the puppy’s head.
“Mommy!” They then heard the kids shouting as they ran to hug her and kiss her on the cheek.
“What about me?” Nicholas joked at the sight.
“Hi, Grandpa,” Elizabeth said, blowing him a kiss.
“Hi, Grandpa.”
“How was school?” Nicholas asked.
“Good,” they replied together.
“Excellent, keep getting those straight A’s,” he said, listening to his grandkids laugh. “Well, I’ll let you go eat while I keep working here,” he said, showing the folders next to him.
“Okay, Dad, don’t overwork yourself, and don’t forget to eat.”

“Don’t worry, dear, Tallana’s looking out for me,” he joked, seeing the older… come back into the

“Hi, Grandma,” the kids said, greeting the older woman.

“Enjoy your meal,” Deborah said, ending the call. When she turned around, she saw her kids happily playing with their pets. “Okay, now that you’re here, go wash your hands while I order lunch.”
