As evening fell, Debra changed into casual clothes and blended into the crowd, making her way to a newly opened arcade.
The arcade was on the second floor of a mall, surrounded by old residential areas. Despite the location, the place was bustling.
As Debra approached the entrance, a strong smell of cigarette smoke hit her. The room was filled with a thick haze, making it hard to see. Patrons with cigarettes dangling from their mouths were intensely playing games, accompanied by shouts and curses.
Debra held her breath and stepped inside. The smoke was overpowering, and the lack of ventilation made her feel dizzy.

Turning to her side, she saw a man in casual clothes, a cap, and sunglasses frantically playing a claw machine. He stood out in the nearly empty section of the arcade.
Her interest piqued, she walked over and tapped his shoulder. The man jumped and swallowed when he saw her.
“Garland?” Debra raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t expect to see you in Seamar City, enjoying yourself like this.”
“Not Garland. Wrong person,” he stammered, trying to back away.
But Debra pulled off his sunglasses, revealing his face.
