The teacup on the coffee table slipped, and Andrew tumbled to the ground.
Barton entered the room and rushed over. “Sir, are you okay? You can’t try to walk like that.”
Barton reached out to help him, but Andrew raised a hand to stop him.
Sweat had already beaded on Andrew’s forehead. He gasped and propped himself up help of the coffee table.
“I know I’m disabled. No need to remind me.”
“Sir, that’s not what I meant.”

Andrew looked down at his legs. He wasn’t completely unable to walk, but he couldn’t walk like an ordinary person.
As the head of the Potter family, he couldn’t appear before others in this state. The wheelchair was the last line of his dignity.
“Debra and Marion are getting married. The gift list I made should be modified. Also, bring back the rehab equipment,” he said.
Barton frowned. “Sir, your legs aren’t suitable for rehab anymore.”
Andrew had been confined to a wheelchair for more than ten years. He could no longer walk like a normal person. Even standing up was a struggle. Though he had been working on exercises, walking normally was just impossible.
“I don’t want to attend their wedding in a wheelchair.”
“Sir, you can’t do this.”
“Since when did you call the shots? Just do as I say.”
Barton fell silent and carried out his orders.
The rehab equipment was moved into Andrew’s room. In the living room, Erica saw it and dropped her popcorn.
“Wow! What’s going on? Are you setting up a gym?”
Erica walked over to Barton and asked, “Has Andrew straightened his thinking?”
“Yeah.”
Just then; Debra came downstairs. “What are you guys talking about?”
Erica walked up to her. “Andrew has changed his mind. He’s going to start rehab.‘
“Rehab?” Debra echoed.

She remembered that Andrew could walk, but it was incredibly difficult.
“Andrew’s been in a wheelchair for more than ten years. Why does he suddenly think about rehab?” Erica muttered, confused. “Because Theda is here in Seamar City?”
Debra mused, “It sounds a bit far–fetched, but there’s some logic to it.”
Erica said, “Maybe it’s just a whim. He’s long passed the recovery period. It won’t be easy.” Debra muttered, “Yeah, why didn’t he do rehab back then?”
Erica explained, “He did, but the results weren’t great. His legs were seriously injured, so even if he could walk, it would look strange. To avoid ridicule and for the sake of family reputation, he stuck to the wheelchair.”
