Chapter 10
The wedding was quite grand. I received an invitation but did not attend, nor did I send a gift. Most of the wolves familiar with Darkmoon Pack also skipped Alpha Joseph’s wedding. I heard that although the wedding had been booked for over 200 guests, only about 50 people showed up, all of whom were from Wilderness Pack.
A few weeks later, while I was patrolling our territory, a patrolling warrior burst out of the woods. “Alpha! We just received news from the border–Wilderness Pack… has been attacked!”
My heart nearly stopped. “What? When did this happen?”
“It was right after Alpha Joseph went on his honeymoon. To better care for and protect Hallie, Alpha Joseph took nearly the entire

pack’s strongest forces with him. This move was noticed by the rogues, and… they destroyed everything.”
“Oh my God…” Colin muttered.
I felt my throat tighten as a surge of anger rose within me.
Wilderness Pack was almost my creation, filled with friends and allies. Yet, Alpha Joseph’s foolishness had led to its destruction.
I leaped into the air, transforming into a silver wolf mid–flight. I instructed Colin to keep a portion of the pack at Darkmoon Pack to
prevent a rogue attack, while I led 50 soldiers
toward Wilderness Pack.
Upon arriving, the scene was chaos–wounded and dead wolves littered the ground. The pack
was engaged in fierce combat, tearing each
other apart.

in the center of the battlefield, a giant black
wolf with a massive scar across its face, the
rogue king Luke, was battling Alpha Joseph’s Beta Axel and six soldiers. Despite Axel and his team’s valiant efforts, they were unable to subdue him and were thrown aside.
I let out a deafening howl and charged at the black wolf. Though smaller in size, my speed was unmatched.
“A little she–wolf has arrived!” Luke snarled. “Ready to kneel at my feet?”
I lunged at him, twisting my body in mid–air and landing on Luke’s back. The enormous black wolf roared in fury, trying to shake me off, but my claws were firmly dug into his fur.
I lowered my head and sank my teeth into his neck, piercing his flesh with my sharp fangs. Luke yelped in pain, struggling desperately to dislodge me, but I held on tightly

My soldiers surrounded Luke from all sides, closing in on him.
“Your blood stinks,” I spat in disgust, letting the bitter taste linger.
At that moment, another rogue wolf circled around, aiming to ambush me from behind.
As I fought off the rogue attempting to ambush me, severely injured Luke seized the chance to retreat with the remaining rogue wolves.
“Alpha, should we pursue them?” one of my wolves asked.
I shook my head. “No, cease the pursuit. All remaining members of the guard should fortify Wilderness Pack immediately.”
My soldiers quickly began tending to the wounded and securing the area.

when i louna Axel, ne was tying under a tree, a deep wound on his back.
“Axel!” I rushed to his side. “Are you alright?”
Axel tried to rise but collapsed. He spoke in a strained voice, “According to our defensive layout, even with Alpha taking a team away, Wilderness Pack shouldn’t have fallen to the
rogues. But those rogues seemed to have detailed knowledge of our defenses. It’s like they had our defensive plans.”
I frowned, troubled by his words.
Axel slammed his fist on the ground. “There’s a traitor among us.”
Days later, Alpha Joseph returned to Wilderness Pack with Hallie. The pack was now a desolate ruin.
“What happened?!” Alpha Joseph roared in
Chapter 10-
Axel’s respect for Alpha Joseph had eroded significantly. “You idiot! Look at the devastation you’ve brought to our pack for this woman! If it weren’t for Evelyn, our pack would have been destroyed.”
Alpha Joseph stared at Axel in shock, unable to believe that his Beta would speak to him like this. However, given that his blunder had led to the current disaster, he refrained from lashing out at Axel.
His gaze then fell upon me through the wreckage. “Evelyn… you’re back.”
“I’m here to help the innocent,” I said coldly. “Nothing more.”
He rushed towards me, hope shining in his eyes. “Evelyn, I knew you still cared about me.”
I turned away from his embrace, furrowing my
